Microdermabrasion Facial (80 mins)

Microdermabrasion is safe, non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that only affects the
upper most layers of skin. Safe for all skin types and colour, our Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion skin resurfacing system, smoothes and polish skin & enhances facial glow. The result is smooth, shiny, healthy and younger looking skin. Microdermabrasion is used to treat Aging and sun-damaged skin, Age Spots, Pigmentation, Stretch Marks, Acne Scarring and Acne, Enlarged and clogged pores, Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Flabby skin, Blotchy skin and Milia (non-inflammed whiteheads caused by keratin-clogged pores).

There is no real age range for microdermabrasion treatment, since the technique can assist with the prevention of problems in young skin, as well as enhance the appearance of skin in older age groups.

A single microdermabrasion treatment exfoliates as much stratum corneum (outer skin) as three consecutive 30% glycolic treatments, or a single 70% glycolic treatment, without the chemical irritation potential of acid-based peels. As a guide, no less than twelve glycolic peels are required to duplicate the effects of just three Microdermabrasion treatments. The greatest treatment benefits are found when complete facial treatments are performed. Including a thorough cleansing with massage, ampoules; either hydrating or soothing and calming, nourishing masks, moisturizer and sun protection.

Treatments are usually arranged along a 5-10 visit strategy, with the goal of accelerating the regeneration of cells to the outer surface of the skin. Optimum results are usually obtained after a number of visits, typically 5-10, at the rate of one every 7-14 days. Scars may take up to 15 treatments.
